01. To promote, protect and safeguard the interest of all the members of the Association directly or indirectly who are engaged in the profession or business of Insurance Surveying.
02. To keep and maintain the highest standard of unity, business ethics, integrity, professionalism, quality, mutual co-operation & good-will among the members of the Association in the conduct of their business carried on by them.
03. To consider and deal with any problem or question that may arise in the conduct of the business carried on by them.
04. To render all possible help, assistance and co-operation to the members of the Association and try to overcome their difficulties and solve their problems by lawful means.
05. To promote the feelings of mutual help and co-operation among the members and maintain uniformity of rules of business and discourage unhealthy competition among the members of the Association
06. To establish and maintain just and equitable principles in the conduct and business carried on by the members and in their dealings with the customers.
07. To render such assistance, co-operation and advice to Government Authority or any other public or private authority in order to enable them to promote, protect and safeguard the interest of the members of the Association as well as the interest of the customers.
08. To promote or oppose legislative and other members by lawful means affecting the business carried on by the members of the association.
09. To work with the Government, the Parliament, and the Ministers to solve problems and obtain fair and equitable laws regarding insurance survey business.
10. To make representation to the Government, public bodies. Organizations and other authorities on behalf of the members of the Association for the redress of their genuine grievance and for meeting legitimate demands of members of the Association.
11. To work with national and international research bodies for facilitating research and department work necessary for development of updated knowledge of insurance survey business.
12. To collect and disseminate necessary information on insurance survey business.
13. To serve as an arbitrator, and/or mediator, in solving problems and minor disputes, keeping in view at all time, the best interests of the Association and its members, as well as the interests of the clients and the country.
14. To collect funds of the Association, donation and by any other lawful means and to accept any requests, gifts donation and endowments, either conditionally or unconditionally from the members of the Association or any other person or persons.
15. To promote and become members and/or association of all national and international organizations or bodies directly or indirectly related to insurance survey mechanization and advancement of insurance survey business.
16. To subscribe and become members of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry and to procure from and furnish such information as may be conducive to the attainment of the objectives of the Association.
17. To obtain or develop informational books, brochure, visual aids and educational items for members and to distribute them on a prorata, non-profit non-loss basis.
18. To raise or borrow funds, or secure the payment of money for promotion of the objectives of the Association and for meeting its financial obligations and to charge the Association’s property or assets.
19. To purchase, lease, exchange or otherwise acquire and alter, improve, develop any land, buildings, houses, estates, farms, fittings and furniture or any other movable or immovable properties, licenses, rights or privileges, as deemed necessary or expedient for accomplishing the objective of the Association.
20. To appoint officers, staff, agents managers, secretaries, contral.;k./l;ctors and establish agencies and/or branches of the Association in any place within Bangladesh, whatsoever.
21. To accept any request gifts, donation or subscription awards any fund or endowment and to establish and support instructions calculated to benefit the member of the Association, its employees or ex-employees or their dependents and to grant gratuities, pensions and allowance and to subscribe, donate or grant money for the promotion of insurance survey business in Bangladesh or for charitable or benevolent objects or for any public, general or useful objects and for insurance survey business in general.
22. To arrange for giving relief, medical or otherwise to the members of the Association, its employees or ex-employees or their dependents and to provide donations or grants as possible.
23. To draw, make, accept, discount, execute and issue cheque, drafts, pay orders, promissory notes and other negotiable or transferable instruments.
24. To pay for services rendered or to be rendered in connection with formation and registration of the Association or for furtherance of its objectives.
25. To represent and act for the members of the Association before all Ministries Departments or Agencies of the Government and before all types of public and private, national and international organizations and agencies whose activities affect the Insurance Surveying business and to nominate its representative (s) for such organizations, if required.
26. To contribute to the progress and advancement in every lawful manner and do all lawful acts to promote the welfare of the members of the Association.
27. To act as advisors and mediators in all such matters pertaining thereto as may from time to time arise between the member of the Association and to arbitrate in the settlement of disputes between such members who solicit such arbitration.
28. To arbitrate in a dispute or differences arising between or among the members of this Association, when requested to do so in all matters which may be referred to this Association by members involved in such disputes or differences between or among themselves.
29. To import goods, materials and other requirements of the members of Association for the purposes of experiment, investigation and research but not for any commercial purpose.
30. To deposit any money or securities in the name of the Association with any bank and to withdraw the same from time to time.
31. To invest the money of the Association in promissory notes or any other Securities and loan granted by the Government.
32.To grant affiliation to the societies or association or trade group in Bangladesh having similar or affairs, aims and objects of this Association.
33. To enter into any agreement with the Government of Bangladesh or with any other authorities concerned for the attainment of the objects of the Association or any of them and to carry out, exercise or comply with the same for the purpose of the Association.
34. To bring suits or take any other legal actions, civil, criminal or otherwise, whether original or appellate, in any court of law in Bangladesh or elsewhere for and on behalf of the Association and also sign petitions, applications written statements’ and vokalatnamas and authorize legal practitioners to act for and on behalf of the Association.
And generally to do all such acts and things as may be necessary from time to time in connection with the affairs of the association or for the attainment of the above objective or any of them.
